Carlos Canovas runs the course in photography from MACUF
04/02/2010

Carles Cánovas 2010

The course aims to critically review "-which has been the history of the photographic medium from its invention to the nearest day, but it is not a story of technical events and events photography, but a group of images that finds meaning in his relation to art in general and the specifics of the particular medium.
The history of photography is brief, barely 170 years have passed since their invention. At the same time, is very dense, more and more. Label all for the sake of it, that is, by our "need" to do, is probably stupid. Analyze each historical movement and critically, identify its antecedents and its consequences must be established, in contrast, enriching.
A writing is learned by reading. To take photographs is essential viewing pictures or, put another way, knowing how and why we are here. This involves putting a small light to the bottom and inward, to know a little, just a little better, if possible, who we are and where we go.

From 1839 until today, to be led by photographer Carlos Canovas, will be held at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Union Fenosa Gas Natural - MACUF, and a total duration of 24 hours distributed as follows:
